Benghazi, October 13, 2026 (LANA) – The Libyan House of Representatives condemned the attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, which resulted in casualties and injuries among civilians. The Council affirmed that this assault compromises the safety of civilians, the security of civil facilities, and air traffic.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Council expressed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia—its leadership, government, and people—and affirmed its support for the Kingdom in confronting any threats to its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The Council emphasized that targeting airports and civil facilities, and endangering the lives of travelers and staff, constitutes a violation of relevant international rules and laws.
