Baghdad International Culinary Festival Kicks Off with Participation of Libyan Chef Ali Al-Turki

Baghdad, October 10, 2026 (LANA) – The third edition of the Iraq International Culinary Festival kicked off today, Saturday, in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, featuring the participation of Libyan Chef Ali Al-Mabrouk Al-Turki from Tripoli.
Two hundred chefs from 35 countries are participating in the three-day event, competing across various culinary specialties and arts. The festival fosters an atmosphere that blends expertise and creativity, reflecting the diverse cultures of nations from around the world.
The festival's organizing committee selected Libyan Chef Ali Al-Turki to serve on the judging panel, which comprises a group of elite international and local experts specializing in culinary arts and hospitality.
The festival aims to facilitate cultural exchange and create an interactive environment that unites the world at a single table by blending flavors from different nations. Additionally, it provides a distinguished platform for food-sector companies—ranging from packaging firms to restaurants—to showcase their products and forge new partnerships.
