Following His Meeting with the General Union of Teachers of Libya, Dbeibah Announces Resumption of Classes Tomorrow

Tripoli, October 6, 2026 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdulhamid Dbeibah announced the resumption of the educational process starting tomorrow, Wednesday, following a meeting he held today with the General Union of Teachers of Libya. He said the decision comes within the framework of shared responsibility for ensuring the stability of education and reaffirming the priority of children’s right to education.
In a post on his Facebook page, Dbeibah affirmed the commencement of efforts to achieve fairness in salaries through a vision aimed at achieving social justice, improving the conditions of state employees, and strengthening social protection for them.
The Prime Minister commended the role of trade unions in safeguarding the rights of their members and supporting the regular functioning of public services.
