Doma and Haftar Discuss Support for the Political Process in Benghazi.

Benghazi, 6 October 2026 (Lana) The Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Misbah Doma, met with Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in Benghazi.

According to a statement by the spokesman of the HoR, Abdullah Blihaq, the meeting discussed the latest political developments and ways to support efforts aimed at unifying Libya’s institutions, stressing the importance of advancing the political process in a manner that contributes to achieving lasting stability and meets the aspirations of the Libyan people.
