Benghazi, 29 September 2026 (Lana) The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced the successful return of well EE1HR-80 at the Majid Field to production at a rate of 5,322 barrels per day, following a nine-year halt.

The company said on its official website today that production tests achieved an actual rate of 5,322 barrels of oil per day through natural flow, with no associated water production, at a rate of 0%.

The company confirmed that the achievement was made using directional drilling and re-entry techniques, in cooperation with Kamco and Baker Hughes, reflecting the efficiency of its operations and contributing effectively to increasing production rates and supporting the oil sector.
