Shakshak Meets with the UK Ambassador.

Tripoli, 28 September 2026 (Lana) Head of the Audit Bureau Khaled Shakshak discussed yesterday with the UK’s Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, aspects of joint cooperation in the areas of capacity building and enhancing the efficiency of audit work.
The meeting covered a number of initiatives and programs related to institutional performance development, exchange of expertise, and support for audit practices in accordance with the principles of governance, integrity, and transparency.
The two sides also discussed ways to expand technical cooperation and benefit from relevant expertise and experiences in developing audit work, in a manner that enhances the capacities of the Audit Bureau and supports its institutional performance.
The meeting comes within the framework of the Audit Bureau’s interest in strengthening its partnerships with international institutions and entities and developing areas of cooperation in a way that serves its objectives of improving audit and institutional performance.
