The Discussion of bilateral relations between Libya and Yemen and developing prospects for joint cooperation

Tripoli – September 27, 2026 (LANA) – Mohamed Ashour, Director of the Arab Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, met on Sunday with Hassan Mohammed Al-Harad, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Libya, to discuss bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity stated that the meeting—held at the Ambassador's request—addressed bilateral relations between Libya and Yemen, ways to strengthen them, the development of avenues for joint cooperation, and a number of issues of mutual interest.
Views were also exchanged regarding various topics related to Arab relations, with an emphasis on the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries.
