Qaderbouh and the Head of Algeria’s High Authority for Transparency Discuss Enhancing Cooperation and Exchanging Expertise

Doha, September 23, 2026 (LANA) – Abdullah Qaderbouh, Head of the Administrative Control Authority, met in Doha with M'hamed Djelloui, Acting Head of the High Authority for Transparency, Prevention, and Combating Corruption in Algeria. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise and experiences in the fields of oversight, transparency, integrity, and the prevention and combating of corruption.

The meeting addressed areas of mutual interest, particularly mechanisms for enhancing transparency in the management of public affairs, preventing and detecting acts of corruption, and collecting and processing data related to corruption risks. It also covered leveraging Libyan and Algerian experiences in monitoring compliance with transparency rules and asset declarations, as well as handling notifications and reports regarding acts of corruption.

The two sides also explored potential cooperation in capacity building, training, and professional development; the exchange of experiences regarding the formulation and implementation of national strategies and programs for transparency and anti-corruption; the promotion of a culture of integrity and good governance; and the development of institutional working tools and methods in this field.

According to the Administrative Control Authority, M'hamed Djelloui affirmed the High Authority's readiness to strengthen cooperation with the Authority and expand the scope of exchanging expertise. This includes areas related to administrative investigations, evidence gathering, and administrative enforcement, as well as developing the capabilities of personnel working in fields related to the prevention and combating of corruption. Abdullah Qadirbuh, Head of the Administrative Control Authority, is leading an official delegation to participate in the proceedings of the sixth session of the Conference of States Parties to the Arab Convention against Combating Corruption, held in Doha, Qatar.
