Libya International Agricultural Development Exhibition kicks of in Tripoli Showcasing the Latest Technologies and Innovations with the participation 55 local and international company's

Tripoli, 22 September 2026 (LANA) – The third edition of the Libya International Exhibition for Agricultural and Livestock Development and Related Supplies opened Monday evening in the capital, Tripoli, with the participation of 55 local and international companies specializing in agriculture and livestock production, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources.

Companies from six countries — Italy, Türkiye, Canada, Egypt, Jordan, and Tunisia — are participating in the exhibition, showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in agricultural mechanization, modern irrigation systems, and livestock production supplies.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Agricultural Police Agency, several directors of departments and centers within the ministry, representatives of political missions and participating companies, as well as the Dean and faculty members and experts from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Tripoli.

Following the opening ceremony, attendees toured the exhibition pavilions, where they viewed the technologies and engineering solutions on display in the fields of agricultural development and livestock production, as well as applications aimed at supporting agricultural development and strengthening efforts to achieve food security.

The exhibition will run for three days and includes an accompanying scientific and professional program featuring specialized lectures and workshops with the participation of a number of experts and academics.
