Libyan–Pakistani Talks to Enhance Economic and Investment Cooperation.

New York, 22 September 2026 (Lana) The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, discussed with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, ways to strengthen bilateral relations and economic and investment cooperation between Libya and Pakistan, in addition to discussing the possibility of holding a Libyan–Pakistani Economic Forum.
This came during a meeting between the two sides on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where they discussed ways to develop joint cooperation and coordinate mutual visits between the two countries.
The meeting also addressed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, emphasizing the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries in international forums.
