Issa Discusses Unified Salary Scale and Implementation of “Your Salary Instantly” with Aboughafa and Shakshak

Tripoli – September 21, 2026 (LANA) – Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Naji Issa, met today, Monday, with Minister of Finance Rashed Aboughafa and President of the Audit Bureau Khaled Shakshak to discuss the unified salary scale and follow-up on the implementation of the “Your Salary Instantly” system.

According to the Central Bank of Libya, the meeting addressed a number of priority issues, foremost among them the unified salary scale and monitoring the implementation of the “Your Salary Instantly” system, in a manner that contributes to organizing the salaries file, enhancing transparency, and improving the efficiency of public expenditure management.

The meeting also discussed efforts to unify and control public expenditure and strengthen coordination among the relevant authorities to ensure the optimal use of public resources and support efforts to achieve fiscal discipline and sustainability.

The meeting further addressed the monitoring of oil and non-oil revenues and mechanisms to improve the efficiency of their collection and monitor their flow, in a way that supports financial and monetary stability and enhances the state’s ability to manage its resources efficiently and transparently.

The participants stressed the importance of continuing coordination among the Central Bank of Libya, the Ministry of Finance, and the Audit Bureau, as well as with all state institutions and relevant parties, and working jointly to complete and implement the targeted reforms in a manner that contributes to controlling public expenditure, enhancing revenues, and supporting economic and financial stability.
