Khoury Discusses Political, Economic and Security Developments in Libya with Canadian Chargé d’Affaires

Tripoli – September 21, 2026 (LANA) – United Nations Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, Stephanie Khoury, met today, Monday, with Canada’s Chargé d’Affaires to Libya, Peter Bundy, to discuss political, economic and security developments in the country.
According to the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), the meeting included discussions on the roadmap facilitated by the mission and the “mini-meeting” agreement.
The Canadian Chargé d’Affaires expressed his country’s support for the UN mission’s efforts to advance the political process and create a conducive environment for holding national elections in Libya.
