Tripoli, 21 September 2026 (Lana) Permanent Representative of Libya to the UN, Taher El-Sonni, announced Libya’s return to active participation in international forums, expressing the country’s aspiration to share its vision and program with the international community.
“Libya is back… Thanks for all who joined our campaign launch… looking forward to sharing with you Libya’s vision and program,” El-Sonni said in a tweet.
He added that the campaign carries the slogan "Enshrining Justice for Peace and Security—Libya as a Bridge Between Nations.”
