Egyptian Foreign Minister Meets with Boulos.

Cairo, 21 September 2026 (Lana) Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, discussed yesterday with the U.S. Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos, the situation in Libya and ways to advance the political process and end the state of division in the country.
During the meeting held in Cairo, the Minister emphasized the priority in protecting Libya’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as supporting the unity of its national institutions, according to the Middle East News Agency.
He also stressed the importance of integrating regional and international efforts in support of the Libyan political process, in a manner that helps the Libyan parties reach a sustainable settlement that reflects their will and preserves the unity of the state and its institutions.
