French Embassy Welcomes the Outcomes of the French-Libyan Forum.

Tripoli, 20 September 2026 (Lana) The French Embassy in Libya welcomed the holding of the French-Libyan Forum, organized by the National Development Agency (NDA) and Business France in Sirte, which brought together 17 French companies with diverse expertise in the areas of electricity, infrastructure, water, and other sectors.

The Embassy said on its official page that the meeting reflects the commitment of French companies to contributing to the reconstruction and development efforts supported by the NDA through the exchange of expertise and knowledge and contributing to the development of partnerships with Libyan stakeholders.

The Embassy confirmed that a strategic memorandum of understanding was signed between the (NDA) and Bureau Veritas, a company specializing in certification, inspection, and testing related to infrastructure and buildings.

The French Embassy welcomed this new step toward strengthening French-Libyan economic and technical cooperation in support of strategic and development projects in Libya.
