Egypt and Algeria Emphasize Continued Coordination on Libya

Cairo, September 18, 2026 (LANA) – Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Algerian counterpart, Ahmed Attaf, discussed the latest developments in Libya during a phone call. They emphasized the importance of continued coordination within the framework of the trilateral neighboring countries mechanism regarding Libya, in a manner that supports the political settlement process and preserves Libya's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
