Tripoli, September 15, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Education in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Abdul-Salam Al-Qaryu, met on Tuesday with representatives of teachers' unions to discuss key issues and demands facing the education sector.
The Ministry stated on its official page that the meeting reflects its commitment to monitoring the conditions of teachers and addressing their demands and rights.
During the meeting, Al-Qaryu listened attentively to the union representatives' demands. He emphasized that teachers' rights and the improvement of their conditions are a priority, noting that the demands raised fall within the scope of legitimate rights that the Ministry—in coordination with the Government of National Unity—is working to address and resolve as quickly as possible.
