Minister of Labor Meets with His Qatari Counterpart.

Cairo, 14 September 2026 (Lana) GNU-Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, discussed with his Qatari counterpart, Ali bin Samikh Al-Marri, on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the Arab Labor Conference, held in the Egyptian capital Cairo, ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the areas of labor and training.

The meeting reviewed prospects for developing cooperation and exchanging expertise and experiences in a manner that contributes to supporting and developing the labor and rehabilitation sectors in both countries, according to the Ministry of Labor’s official page.

The two ministers also affirmed their commitment to continuing coordination and following up on the implementation of existing cooperation frameworks in a way that strengthens cooperation in the labor market and vocational training.
