Sirte, 14 September 2026 (Lana) The Training and Development Department of Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Manufacturing Company has commenced the operation of the Precision Instruments Laboratory using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system, following the completion of its equipment with all the necessary requirements, and is preparing to organize a series of specialized training workshops in air conditioning and refrigeration, as well as valve and pump maintenance.

The company’s Training and Development Department stated that, through these programs, it seeks to meet the company’s needs for trained technical personnel and enhance performance and professional efficiency, thereby strengthening reliance on national expertise and supporting its plans to develop the technical and technological capabilities of its employees.

The initiative aims to contribute to preparing and qualifying specialized and skilled national personnel across various companies within the sector, enabling them to keep pace with the latest digital technologies in the area of automation and control, while also developing technicians’ skills in various maintenance activities, which will positively impact the operational capacity and performance of these companies.
