Al-Zoubi reviews cooperation relations between the two countries with the Chinese Ambassador.

Tripoli – September 13, 2026 – (LANA) – The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense in the Government of National Unity, Abdulsalam Al-Zoubi, reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries on Sunday at the Ministry’s headquarters with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Libya, Ma Xuiliang, and his accompanying delegation.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the meeting addressed bilateral relations between Libya and the People's Republic of China, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest, and explored ways to strengthen and develop cooperation to serve shared interests.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary affirmed the Ministry of Defense's appreciation for China's supportive stance regarding Libya's security, stability, and unity, while commending the role played by the People's Republic of China in regional and international forums.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continued consultation, coordination, and the exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, as well as working to develop cooperative relations in a manner that enhances shared interests and contributes to supporting security and stability, according to the Ministry.
