The Central Bank hosts the Fifth Arab Conference on Savings and Financial Culture

Tripoli, September 2, 2026 (LANA) – The Central Bank of Libya will host the 5th Arab Conference on Savings and Financial Literacy 2026 on September 7, under the theme “Tripoli: Capital of Financial Literacy,” in the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank, Naji Issa.
The bank explained that this regional event will bring together a select group of experts, decision-makers, financial institutions, central banks, and researchers from across the Arab world to promote financial literacy and raise awareness of saving and investment.
Over three days, the conference will discuss issues of financial literacy, financial inclusion, digital financial services, and their role in enhancing stability and financial awareness in the Arab region.
The conference aims to bridge the gap between financial knowledge and practical application by presenting the latest international policies, practices, and experiences, and creating an interactive environment that brings together decision-makers, financial institutions, and experts to address economic challenges and the rapid pace of digital transformation.
