(GECOL) continues emergency maintenance work to enhance network stability in Tripoli and Sabha.

Tripoli, August 29, 2026 (LANA) – GECOL continues to carry out emergency maintenance work in several areas to enhance the readiness of the electrical grid, improve power supply stability, and reduce frequent outages.

The company stated on its official page today, Saturday, that technical teams from the Tripoli General Installations Department carried out emergency maintenance work last night at the Contractors' substation, located within the Al-Karimiya distribution circuit. This included performing high-voltage welding connections.

Additionally, the Sebha cable maintenance team conducted emergency maintenance work on line (1111) at the Al-Hadiqa substation, which supplies several residential neighborhoods in the Al-Qardah area of ​​Sebha.

These works are part of the company's ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency of the electrical grid, enhance power stability, and ensure continuous service for citizens.
