Preparations for a Workshop on Diagnosing and Restoring Balance to the Electrical Grid

Tripoli, August 27, 2026 (LANA) – The President of the Libyan Academy, in a meeting attended by members of the scientific, preparatory, and media committees tasked with organizing the specialized workshop entitled: “Diagnosing the Causes of Electrical Grid Disruptions and Developing a Vision for Restoring Stability,” discussed the final preparations for the workshop, scheduled for September 8, 2026.
During the meeting, the final arrangements and the scientific topics to be addressed were reviewed, along with the media coverage plans for the event.
The meeting called for leveraging academic and technical expertise to analyze the obstacles facing the electricity sector and to develop practical scientific proposals that contribute to overcoming the current challenges.
The workshop will be attended by a select group of specialists, academics and experts, to enrich the discussion and provide applicable scientific solutions, in an effort to address one of the most prominent service challenges facing the Libyan citizen.
