Al-Brega Distributes 17.8 Million Liters of Gasoline and Continues to Strengthen Supplies to the Sabha Depot

Tripoli, August 26, 2026 (LANA) – Al-Brega Oil Marketing Company announced the distribution of approximately 17 million and 810 thousand liters of gasoline yesterday, Tuesday, as part of its operational program to meet market needs and ensure regular fuel supplies to various regions.

In a post on its official page this evening, Wednesday, the company explained that these quantities were distributed as follows: 9 million and 195 thousand liters from the Tripoli Depot, 3 million and 560 thousand liters from the Misrata Depot, 1 million and 155 thousand liters from the Zawiya Depot, 3 million and 210 thousand liters from the Ras al-Manqar Depot, and 690 thousand liters from the Tobruk Depot.

It noted that 504 thousand liters were allocated to support the Sabha Depot, including 240 thousand liters from the Zawiya Depot and 264 thousand liters from the Misrata Depot, as part of an ongoing program to strengthen fuel supplies to the southern regions.

The company added that the program to support the Sabha Depot would continue today, Wednesday, with the dispatch of 250 thousand liters of gasoline, followed by an equal quantity tomorrow, Thursday. The depot's stock will then be further replenished on Friday with approximately two million liters from the Misrata Oil Depot.

The quantities were announced during a field visit to the Misrata Oil Depot to follow up on the progress of operational activities and the program to support the Sabha Depot. The visit was attended by the company's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Fouad Balrahim; Board Member for Operations and Maintenance in the Regions, Mustafa Aoun; Director General of the General Administration for Operations and Maintenance in the Regions, Khaled Oheiba; Director of the Supply Department, Engineer Mukhtar Khatrish; and Head of the Misrata Oil Depot, Engineer Ahmed Abshir.

The company explained that these measures come following a temporary disruption to the scheduled arrival of petroleum-product tankers, against the backdrop of geopolitical developments that have affected maritime traffic and global freight markets. It confirmed that the National Oil Corporation continues its efforts to secure fuel shipments, reorganize distribution programs according to the needs of the regions, and gradually increase supply rates in the affected areas.
