Orlando affirms continued support for Libya and strengthening cooperation and partnership relations.

Tripoli, August 26, 2026 (LANA) – The European Union Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, affirmed his continued support for Libya and the strengthening of cooperation and partnership relations between the two sides, contributing to the Libyan people's aspirations for stability, peace, and development.

This came during a meeting today, Wednesday, at the Presidential Council headquarters in Tripoli, between the Ambassador and the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manfi, on the occasion of the end of his term.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Manfi wished Ambassador Orlando success in his future endeavors, praising his efforts in advancing Libyan-European relations towards broader horizons of cooperation and coordination.
