Tripoli, August 20, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Finance of the Government of National Unity and Chairman of the General Assembly of the Sahel and Sahara Investment and Trade Bank, Rashid Abu Ghaffa, received in Tripoli today, Thursday, the Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Chadians Abroad, Abdallah Saber Fadoul, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board and General Manager of the Sahel and Sahara Investment and Trade Bank.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the meeting addressed several issues of common economic interest, given that the bank represents the economic arm of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD).

The two sides also discussed mechanisms for supporting investment projects between the two countries and agreed to convene the Joint High Committee.
