Al-Baour Receives Chadian Foreign Minister and Accompanying Delegation at Mitiga Airport in Tripoli

Tripoli, August 19, 2026 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, received today, Wednesday, the Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad, Abdallah Sabre Fadoul, upon his arrival at Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, on an official visit to Libya at the head of a high-level delegation.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit comes within the framework of strengthening the existing fraternal relations and cooperation between Libya and Chad, and supporting bilateral consultation and coordination efforts in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

The visit is expected to address a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields, in addition to discussing regional and international issues of common interest.
