Brega Board Member Discusses Reducing Fuel Smuggling with Western Mountain Military Region Commander.

Tripoli, 19 August 2026 (Lana) Brega Oil Marketing Company Board of Director Member, Milad Al-Hijrasi, met Tuesday with Western Mountain Military Region Commander, Lieutenant General Osama Al-Juwaili, to discuss the fuel smuggling file in the Western Mountain and its surrounding areas.

Al-Juwaili stressed the need for legal measures to address the issue and stop smuggling across the region.

For his side, Al-Hijrasi expressed his appreciation to Al-Juwaili, stressing the need to intensify national efforts to reduce smuggling and tackle fuel brokers and crisis traders.

Brega Company stated that this initiative comes within its commitment to strengthening its national role and easing the suffering of citizens across Libya.
