Issa discusses with the British ambassador the developments in the economic and financial situation in Libya

Tripoli, August 18, 2026 (LANA) – The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Naji Issa, met today, Tuesday, with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, to discuss the latest economic and financial developments in Libya.
The meeting addressed the efforts undertaken by the bank in implementing financial and economic reforms with relevant stakeholders.
The meeting also covered avenues for joint cooperation in capacity building for the Central Bank with financial institutions in the United Kingdom.
