The Minister of Justice discusses with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy strengthening judicial cooperation and exchanging expertise

Tripoli, August 17, 2026 (LANA) – Minister of Justice of the Government of National Unity, Halima Ibrahim, met today, Monday, with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Libya to discuss strengthening judicial cooperation and exchanging expertise.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the meeting addressed the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields, in addition to strengthening judicial cooperation and exchanging expertise in legal and judicial matters.
The two sides also discussed the preparation of a memorandum of understanding on judicial cooperation and the exchange of prisoners between the two countries.
