The General Movement of Scouts and Guides is hosting the Fourth Maghreb Cubs Gathering in Misrata.

Tripoli, August 16, 2026 (LANA) – The General Movement of Scouts and Guides is hosting the 4th Maghreb Cub Scout Gathering at the Abu Qata’a Forest Scout Center in Misrata, from August 16 to 22. The gathering will include scout associations from Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania.

The Movement announced on its official page that the opening ceremony will be held tomorrow, Monday, August 17, at 7:00 PM at the Abu Qata’a Forest Scout Center in Misrata.

The gathering will continue from Tuesday, August 18, to Friday, August 21, with the participation of cub scouts from scout associations in the five Maghreb countries.

The Movement stated that the gathering brings together members of the scout movement from across the Maghreb region in Libya, contributing to strengthening fraternal values ​​and fostering communication between cub scouts and the scout movement in the region.
