Minister of Technical and Vocational Education Approves Results of Intermediate Technical Education Completion Certificate with a 70.4% Pass Rate

Tripoli, August 16, 2026 (LANA) – Minister of Technical and Vocational Education Yakhlef Al-Saifaw approved today, Sunday, the results of the examinations for the Intermediate Technical Education Completion Certificate at intermediate technical institutes for the 2025–2026 academic year, with a pass rate of 70.4 percent.
A total of 23,511 male and female students sat for the examinations. Of these, 16,549 passed, while 144 students failed, and 6,818 students were assigned to the second-round examinations.
During the results approval ceremony, the minister congratulated the successful male and female students and wished them success in their academic and technical careers. He noted that the current academic year saw the overcoming of a number of obstacles and challenges facing the technical and vocational education sector.
Al-Saifaw expressed his appreciation to the examination committees, monitoring teams, and everyone who contributed to the success of the educational and examination process, commending their efforts to ensure the completion of the examinations and the announcement of the results.
The ceremony was attended by Tahir bin Tahir, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Higher Technical Colleges and Institutes; Al-Farjani Ahmed, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Administrative Affairs and Development; and Abdul Qader Al-Zarouq Ghaniya, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Intermediate Technical Education.
