Tripoli, August 12, 2026 (LANA) – Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan visited the headquarters of the Turkish Armed Forces Task Force in Libya, located in the capital, Tripoli.

The Anadolu Agency quoted the Turkish Foreign Ministry in a post on its social media platform, "Ins Social," on Wednesday, stating that Minister Fidan visited the headquarters of the Turkish Armed Forces Task Force in Libya, without providing further details.

On Tuesday, Fidan held talks with Presidential Council Chairman Mohammed al-Manfi, Council Vice President Abdullah al-Lafi, High Council of State Chairman Mohammed Takala, and Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, as part of a two-day visit to Libya that includes Tripoli and Benghazi.
