Takala discusses a number of financial and economic issues with Shakshak

Tripoli, August 11, 2026 (LANA) – The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, met today, Tuesday, with the Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, to discuss a number of issues and developments related to public affairs.

The meeting addressed several issues and developments related to public affairs, particularly financial and economic matters, and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination among state institutions, in order to support institutional work, improve performance, and raise the level of public resource management.

According to the Council's media office, the meeting emphasized the importance of continued communication and coordination between the High Council of State and the Audit Bureau, and of strengthening the principles of oversight, transparency, and the protection of public funds, in order to serve the national interest and support financial and economic stability in the country.
