Zallaf Libya Continues Implementing Projects to Increase Oil and Gas Production at Its Fields.

Tripoli, 10 August 2026 (Lana)—Zallaf Libya Oil Exploration, Production, and Refining Company announced the near completion of drilling the A-6-C126 well at the Al-Shadar Field, which is expected to have a production capacity of around 1,400 barrels of oil per day, as part of the company’s projects aimed at increasing oil and gas production rates.

This came during the company’s 2026 technical meeting, held yesterday, by the technical and financial departments of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), which focused on reviewing the company’s activities, performance indicators, and oil and gas production rates, as well as completed and upcoming projects, their completion rates, and the company’s targets, programs, and budget for 2027.

The company also reviewed the latest development of the Al-Atshan Field, as well as progress on work at the Al-Shadar Field, reaffirming its commitment to continuing the implementation of projects aimed at increasing production rates.

The Board Member for Exploration, Production, Development, Geological, and Geophysical Information, along with the directors of the relevant technical departments, instructed the company’s officials to continue their efforts and accelerate the implementation of projects related to increasing production in a manner that contributes to achieving production targets and enhancing the company’s capacity to raise production rates.

The meeting was attended by a number of technical and financial specialists; representatives of Libya Technology Company, Al-Jouf Company, and the Oil Research Center; as well as members of the Zallaf Libya Management Committee.
