Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives the State Final Accounts from the Head of the Administrative Control Authority

Al-Qubbah, August 5, 2026 (LANA) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, received the State's final accounts during a meeting on Wednesday in the city of Al-Qubbah with the Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh.
According to the Speaker's Media Center, the meeting discussed ways to enhance oversight activities and improve their efficiency, as well as reviewed the latest reports and observations concerning the performance of various state institutions, ministries, and government sectors.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms to strengthen transparency and good governance, and to combat all forms of financial and administrative corruption, in a manner that safeguards public funds and protects the national interest.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed the pivotal role played by the Administrative Control Authority as one of the key pillars ensuring discipline within the public service. He reaffirmed the House of Representatives' unlimited support for the Authority and all oversight bodies, including the provision of the necessary legislative, legal, and administrative support to enable them to carry out their duties independently, effectively, and free from any pressure or interference.
According to the Media Center, the Head of the Authority presented a comprehensive overview of the State's final accounts for several previous fiscal years, the Authority's future plans, and its field efforts to monitor the performance of various state agencies and verify their compliance with the laws and legislation issued by the House of Representatives. He also expressed his appreciation for the continued support provided by the House of Representatives, affirming the Authority's commitment, through all its personnel, to continue fulfilling its national duty to protect public resources and uphold the rule of law.
