Chief of General Staff discusses strengthening military cooperation with British Ambassador

Tripoli, July 28, 2026 (LANA) – The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Salah al-Din al-Namroush, received the United Kingdom's Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, and the British Defense Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel David Beattie, on Monday.

The Libyan Army General Staff's media office reported that the meeting addressed ways to enhance joint military cooperation between Libya and the United Kingdom, and explored prospects for collaboration in training, development, and military consulting, with the aim of improving the efficiency and capabilities of the Libyan military establishment and supporting its development and readiness efforts.
