Tripoli, July 27, 2026 (LANA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity condemned the attempted targeting of oil and vital facilities in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province and Riyadh, considering it an attack on civilian infrastructure and a threat to global energy security and stability.

In a statement issued today, Monday, the Ministry expressed Libya's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting all threats to its security and stability, affirming its support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security and vital facilities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation called on all parties to exercise restraint and resort to diplomatic means to resolve disputes and spare the region further tension and escalation.
