Al-Baour Discusses Bilateral Relations and Regional and International Developments with Saudi Chargé d'Affaires

Tripoli, July 23, 2026 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity, Al-Taher Al-Baour, held talks on Thursday with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Libya, Abdullah bin Dakhil Allah Al-Sulami, on bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting addressed the fraternal relations between the State of Libya and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and advance it across various fields in a manner that meets the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
The two sides also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, in addition to the latest developments on the regional and international fronts. They stressed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries in Arab and international forums, and supporting all efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further developing political, economic, and development cooperation, while strengthening ties between Libyan and Saudi institutions in a way that reflects the depth of bilateral relations and their significance within the framework of joint Arab cooperation.
