Tripoli, July 23, 2026 (LANA) – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) launched a digital campaign entitled “Youth Voices for Libya’s Future,” inviting young Libyans from across the country to submit original digital artwork expressing their visions, aspirations, and role in building a better future, in celebration of International Youth Day 2026.
The campaign targets talented young Libyan men and women in the fields of design and digital creativity, aiming to highlight their ideas and innovations and enhance their participation in issues affecting their future and the future of their country.
UNSMIL explained that the campaign focuses on three main themes: youth and climate action; youth, education, skills, and livelihoods; and youth and health, reflecting the importance of the role of young people in addressing challenges and contributing to achieving sustainable development.
In a post on its official page, the mission stated that the deadline for submissions is August 9, 2026, and encouraged those interested in participating to review the campaign details and application process on the dedicated website.
The mission affirmed that this initiative comes within the framework of supporting youth voices and encouraging them to express their ideas through creative digital media, and highlighting their role as key partners in shaping Libya's future.
