The Central Bank calls on commercial banks to subscribe to issue (23-2026) of speculative deposit certificates

Tripoli, July 22, 2026 (LANA) – The Central Bank of Libya has called on commercial banks to subscribe to issue number (23-2026) of unrestricted investment certificates of deposit, in accordance with the procedures and controls adopted in previous issues, and in line with the terms and maturity dates specified in the subscription announcement.
The bank explained in a post on its official page today, Wednesday, that the subscription process will be implemented according to the approved regulatory mechanisms, urging commercial banks to adhere to the procedures and deadlines outlined in the issuance announcement, to ensure that the subscription process proceeds within the approved regulatory frameworks.
