MP Saleh Qalmah chairs the meeting of the Rules, Privileges and Discipline Committee of the African Parliament and emphasizes the importance of enhancing the committee's performance.

Benghazi, July 22, 2026 (LANA) – The Chairman of the Standing Committee on Rules, Privileges, and Discipline of the Pan-African Parliament, Member of Parliament Saleh Qalmah, opened the committee meeting, in the presence of the Vice-Chairman, Abdul Rahim Brimi, and the Rapporteur, Sanogo Omar.

The Chairman began the meeting by welcoming the committee members before proceeding to discuss and adopt the agenda, paving the way for reviewing the items included and monitoring the committee's progress during the seventh legislative session.

In his address during the meeting, MP Saleh Qalmah emphasized the importance of continuing efforts and fulfilling the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to the committee members to the best of their ability, thereby contributing to enhancing its performance and achieving its objectives within the framework of the Pan-African Parliament.

This meeting comes as part of the ongoing work of the Standing Committee on Rules, Privileges, and Discipline, and supporting its role in organizing parliamentary work and enhancing the efficiency of legislative performance during the current session.
