Water resources completes electromechanical maintenance work at three water stations in the western region

Tripoli, July 22, 2026 (LANA) – The Ministry of Water Resources of the Government of National Unity has completed maintenance and electromechanical rehabilitation work at the Al-Assa, Raqdalin, and Al-Jamil water treatment plants, as part of contracts signed to develop and improve the efficiency of the water sector's infrastructure.

In a post on its page today, the Ministry explained that the work, carried out under the supervision of the Projects Department, included the maintenance and rehabilitation of the plants' electromechanical components, in accordance with approved technical standards, ensuring their operational readiness and improving their performance efficiency.

The Ministry confirmed that the plants have been handed over to the General Water and Sanitation Company in preparation for their reactivation, which will contribute to supporting the water supply system and improving the level of services provided to citizens in the targeted areas.

These works are part of the "Return to Life" projects aimed at developing vital facilities and enhancing the readiness of infrastructure in various sectors.
