Doha, July 15, 2026 (LANA) – The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received Field Marshal Saddam Khalifa Haftar, who offered his condolences on the death of his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).

The meeting, which took place at Sheikh Tamim's office in Lusail Palace, was also attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, QNA reported.
