Al-Baour discusses with Berndt strengthening Libyan-American relations in various fields

Tripoli, July 15, 2026 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met today in Tripoli with the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations in various fields.
The meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy, Inga Heming, addressed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in various sectors to achieve common interests.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides exchanged views on current regional and international issues of mutual concern.
