The Emir of Qatar receives Dbeibah, who offered condolences on the death of his father.

Doha, July 13, 2026 (LANA) – The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, on Monday evening. Dbeibah offered his condolences on the death of his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the reception was also attended by the Deputy Emir, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani; the Emir's Personal Representative, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani; Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani; Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani; Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani; Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani; and several of Sheikh Hamad's sons.

Dbeibah had arrived in Doha earlier that day, where he was received at Hamad International Airport by the Minister of Transport, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Doha, Faraj Mohammed Al-Arabi.
