Libyan-Italian Talks to Enhance Cooperation in the Education Sector

Tripoli, July 12, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Education of the Government of National Unity, Dr. Mohamed Al-Qaryu, discussed with his Italian counterpart ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the education sector, on the sidelines of the “Education Transformation +4” summit held in the French capital.

The talks focused on developing educational systems, exchanging specialized expertise, and leveraging the academic heritage of both countries to support educational development and strengthen the bilateral partnership.

The two sides also discussed prospects for cooperation in educational and technological fields, emphasizing the importance of integrating efforts to create flexible and innovative learning environments that meet international standards and improve the efficiency of the educational process and the preparation of future generations.
