Al-Menfi praises the national role played by young people towards the future of Libya

Tripoli, July 9, 2026 (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, praised the national role played by young people and their awareness and vision for the future of Libya.
This came during his meeting today, Thursday, at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli, with a delegation of Libyan youth representing various municipalities and regions.
Al-Menfi emphasized that building a stable and secure state requires empowering young people and actively involving them in various political and national processes, and strengthening their presence in dialogues and decision-making, considering them a fundamental pillar in the process of building the state and consolidating stability.
According to the Presidential Council's media office, the delegation reiterated its full support for the Presidential Council and its endorsement of all its decisions and decrees aimed at safeguarding the national interest.
The delegation also affirmed its support for the document of principles for the roadmap to end the transitional phase, which was agreed upon by the heads of the three councils. The Presidential Council, the House of Representatives, and the High Council of State, as a national step that responds to the requirements of the current stage, strengthens national security, preserves national sovereignty, and maintains the unity of Libyan territory, the integrity of state institutions, and their financial stability.
