Tripoli, 8 July 2026 (Lana)—GNU Minister of Interior Major General Emad Al-Tarabulsi received U.S. Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs Massad Boulos, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Kyle Liston, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Libya and the U.S., particularly in the security area, as well as discussed a number of issues of common interest, with the aim of supporting security and stability and strengthening coordination between the two sides.
