Dbeibah meets Qatari Prime Minister

Tripoli, July 4, 2026 (LANA) – The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, met today, Saturday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations, expand economic and investment cooperation, and encourage Qatari investments in Libya.

The two sides also discussed mechanisms for developing the partnership between the two countries in a number of priority sectors, in addition to developments in the political and security situation in Libya and the efforts being made to support the political process.

The meeting also addressed cooperation in the air transport sector, coinciding with the imminent opening of Tripoli International Airport, which will enhance travel and investment between the two countries.
